Heroes in a Half Shell: Turtle Cookies!

People that know me know that "my animal" (besides my obsession with bird motifs, of course) is the turtle. Turtle sign on my office door, turtle jewelry, metal turtle on the wall, ceramic turtle... it's not quite an obsession...yet. 


So, when I saw a a turtle cookie recipe by Diamonds for Dessert over on The Kitchn today, my heart soared. That, and it's possibly the CUTEST turtle cookie I could ever imagine...

Turtle cookies... what a great start to the weekend!
