The Mystery is Solved - Pie Bird Soap appears on Etsy's Blog (The Storque)!

When the Etsy orders started POURING in this morning, I had to wonder what the heck was going on! How did one soap jump to HUNDREDS of views in an hour? How did the number of folks who picked my shop as a "Favorite" more than double? Front page? Nope. Regretsy (eek!)? Nope. New popular treasury? Nope.

I decided to hold my breath and Google my shop name - piebirdshop - and low and behold... my Mountain Air soap was included in an Etsy Finds post on the Etsy Blog - the Storque! Entitled "Etsy Finds: Lucky in Love," the post is a collection of Etsy wares centered around a mountain wedding that was held right here in Wyoming.

Well, I must say that I'm incredibly happy that I'm not the victim of some terrible Etsy scam (funny how that was my first reaction!) and I'm just over the moon that my soap was discovered in the sea of bath and beauty wonders that appear all over the site. I guess that being one of the few Etsy Sellers in Wyoming really pays off! What a lovely reminder that geography really does matter in this online world of ours :)

Many thanks to Emily Bidwell for her post - you made my month!
